EduKick Offcials Meet Coach of Spain, Luis Aragones

April 11, 2006 - Madrid, Spain -- EduKick V.P., Joey Bilotta and Edugoal President and EduKick Spain General Director, Anselmo Vicioso Aragones traveled to Madrid, Spain March 7 – 14 to conduct EduKick Spain business. While in Madrid, Bilotta and Vicioso Aragones met with several people associated with their Spanish based soccer development programs. Mr. Vicioso Aragones, the nephew of the head coach of the Spanish National Team Luis Aragones, together with his older brother Poli, directs all EduKick Spain Language & Soccer programs.

The EduKick Spain soccer & language programs include two (2) summer Spanish language immersion soccer development three-week camps, a two-week Elite camp at the famous Ciudad del Futbol soccer training complex, custom monthly “individual” training programs, and full year academic soccer boarding schools in Madrid (both University and High School levels).

During the 7-day visit, Bilotta and Aragones met with several groups of people associated with these unique Spanish language immersion soccer programs, including the Principal and the Head of Academics of the current affiliated Spanish High School (where the Spain year-long EduKick boarders attend), the Director of the EduKick affiliated language academy, International House, and the EduKick Spain "team" – which included the EduKick Spain Director, the technical coaching staff, the physical trainer and the school liaison counsellor/tutor. Bilotta and Vicioso Aragones also met with the Spain 2005/06 Year-long class as a group and also individually with each player to discuss their academic and soccer development.

Possibly the most significant of all meetings, however, were the meetings held at the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol’s “Ciudad del Futbol” (Soccer City) in Las Rosas, Madrid. This immaculate soccer training facility was the former home training grounds of the famous Spanish club Real Madrid and is the current training grounds for all the Spanish National Teams, including the Men's squad about to participate in World Cup 2006 in Germany.

In cooperation with the Real Federacion Espanola del Futbol, EduKick will offer an “Elite” Soccer Development camp at the Ciudad del Futbol this summer from July 9 until July 23, 2006. The camp is open to boys and girls 14-22 years old that qualify. To qualify, players must submit a soccer résumé to EduKick headquarters with details of their soccer history and coaches references. This "Elite" camp is intended for those high-level players that aspire towards playing either University of professional soccer.

This "Soccer Development Center" works with players on every aspect of their training to ensure they develop the physical, technical, tactical and mental foundation required for better performance in soccer matches. EduKick V.P., Joey Bilotta, says, "Each player attending the EduKick Spain "Elite" Camp at the Ciudad del Futbol will also receive a DVD Media Promotional Packet, including 5-6 minutes of video and digital photos of the player, interviews and technical evaluation reports, that the participating players will be able to bring home and disseminate to interested collegiate, university or Olympic Development coaches."

At the Ciudad del Futbol, Bilotta and Vicioso Aragones met first with the facility Director, Javier Lozano Cid. In additional to his duties directing the Ciudad del Futbol, Mr. Lozano is a former professional player and current Spanish Futsal National Team Head Coach that travels the world lecturing and giving coaches clinics on behalf of the Spanish Futbol Federation. In their meeting EduKick V.P., Bilotta and Vicioso Aragones discussed with Mr. Lozano the details of the upcoming and inaugural EduKick Spain “Elite” camp and also discussed the possibility of EduKick hosting a North American based Spanish Soccer Federation Soccer School.

After completing the meeting with Lozano, Bilotta and Vicioso Aragones were escorted by Mr. Lozano to meet with the coach of Spain (and Anselmo’s Uncle), Mr. Luis Aragones. Anselmo Vicioso Aragones recently graduated from Boston College with a Masters Degree in Education with a focus on Sports Psychology and was meeting with his uncle to discuss a proposal he sent earlier to his uncle regarding working with the World Cup team on mental conditioning prior to and during the world cup in Germany in June. Luis met with his nephew for two hours while Bilotta toured the facility to discuss the proposal. At the end of the meeting it was decided that a second proposal would be submitted for consideration by the RFEF board of directors…if they agreed, then the Spanish National team would have their new “mental coach” to aid them in preparing for World Cup Germany 2006.

EduKick is presently accepting applications for the Elite camp. See detailed information about the EduKick Elite camp at the Ciudad del Futbol here… http://www.edukick.com/soccercamps.asp?cat=119
